Step 2: Consider Producing Shareable Content!
Next step to Linkedin success. Now that you’ve joined some groups – the right ones – it’s time to start posting. But not just anything! You actually have to be very careful about the content you choose to post, because the wrong moves might mean you can get written off as a spammer or simply as irrelevant. In order to attract the respect and the clicks you’re looking for, you have to get your audience interested. This means:
- Post what’s relevant to your niche
- Post what reveal new information
- Post with the intent to educate your audience
- Post that are engaging
They can be your own content, on your website (ideally) or links to other people’s work, as long as it’s relevant to your and the other group members’ interests.
Attention! Promos and contests are a great way of drawing positive attention to your website, getting people to click and remember you. They will associate you with positive feelings and will be more likely to trust you and choose to do business with you.
